Talking Which Exhaust do you have on your Camaro???

Tell me about your Exhaust whether it be a Cat Back /Axle Back and if it is very loud and aggressive or slightly louder than stock.

Looking to get new exhaust in spring or summer.
I have done some research so far, but def want Camaro 5 members input.

I currently have a 2013 SS V8 L99 automatic (afm still active, not tuned)

All suggestions are welcome!! Thanks

First off, start at the front with headers and work your way back. You don't want to get a catback, add the headers later and then not like the sound.

I've got Stainless Power 1 7/8" long tubes with cats. Stock 2 1/2" piping with a Magnaflow resonated x pipe and a Borla S Type axle back. Its quiet at start up and idle. When you gas it, it has a very refined sound. It's not overly loud but at the same time still sounds pretty aggressive to me. I love it. I've played with about 6 different configs for my exhaust. This is by far my favorite.

Sw long tubes, NPP fuse pulled. Moderate at part throttle, nasty at wot throttle. No plans to change it at all

Borla ATAK catback. Made a world of difference in sound over stock. Then I added headers and it got even louder. I enjoy a loud car and the combination of this and everything else in my signature makes for a good angry sound in my opinion.

Agree - but if you don't get headers, get a set of Hi Flow Cats to replace the factory ones. Many good brands out there but I went with the Solo HFC's and tomorrow will have the Solo cat back system w/j-pipes installed to complete my exhaust system overhaul.

Here's a pic of the HFC's - also, this will save you some $$ over headers if you are budget challenged.

ARH 1 7/8" long tubes, hi flow cats, and x-pipe, SLP loudmouth 1.

All I'm going to say on it being loud is watch my tuner and his assistant (guy in reflection) plug their ears...

Not for nothin, but it is possible to get headers first and then an exhaust and not like the sound. Getting headers first has no impact on whether or not you'll like how it sounds when you complete your exhaust.

OP, I got OBX cat-back. It is 304 stainless steel and 3 inches except where it necks down to 2.5 inches to connect to the OEM manifolds/cats. It sounds good and looks great. It is mild when normal driving and aggressive when you get on it. And it only costed about a little over $500. Can't beat that.

You didn't say you were looking for any HP ?? Headers [LT] would be you best bet if looking for power in a exhaust system. You definitely do not need headers, but the added 20/25 sure is nice. If your looking for just sound, that could be done with an axle back. I have heard some sound clips of LS3's with stock mufflers that had headers and hi-flow cats / or cat delete and they sounded dam good.

alright sooooo

First i added a Corsa Cat back and loved the sound. mild at idle and cruising and loud at WOT. later i added TSP 1 7/8" long tubes and no cats and that really woke it up i mean not much at idle and cruise but give it some throttle and its pretty damn loud and sounded goooood.

i have since sold that corsa and am currently running the long tubes through the stock cat back and you'd probably be suprised at how good it actually sounds...but its just to quiet for me. so i just purchased a SW retro chambered cat back and that'll go on this weekend.
