sway bar question

Been talking to tyler about things for my car. Wondering if anyone has feedback for me. Pfadt or hotchkis. Thinking either one. Or if anyone has any other suggestions.
Thanks cameron

A quick search for Pfadt or Hotchkis sway bars will show you lots of threads to read from. Both are good companies and sell quality parts.

Hotchkis are good . Had them on my 2010 lt.The ones for 1012 and up have an adjustable rear bar.Had the pfadt bars on the SS, they are three way adjust front and back and made the car handle flat, really liked them

What did Tyler tell you to do? I'm assuming "Tyler" fro JDP motorsports. Both companies make parts that fit and will work on your car. Good luck!

Ok. Now I was looking. Hotchkis has a spring and sway bar kit. That's why I was asking. Or is It worth spending few bucks more and getting pfadt sway bars and the springs separate. I dont know if it matter but I have a 2013 v6 lfx car.

He told me either the pfadt bars or the hotchkis stage 1 kit.

Pfadts would be the stage II kit (springs and sways). A big savings over buying them seperately. Call them or Tyler to see exactly which ones you need.

I looked at Pfadt and BMR. Both have kits with bars and springs. BMR bars are adjustable front and back. I think Pfadt is adjustable back. I don't see how you could go wrong with BMR, Pfadt or Hotchkis.

Pfadt has a couple different sway bar options. I have the "Sport" sways which are 3-way adjustible only in the rear, but they also have a ZL1 spec set of sways which are 3way adjustible front and rear.

I'm not sure which suspension package the V6's have, but the Sport sways are compatible with the FE3 suspension (2010-2012 SS), and the ZL1 spec bars require you to upgrade to the FE4/FE5 suspension (2012+ SS) because the lower control arm connection points are different.

Can't go with the ZL-Spec FE4 style on the V6 due to clearance issues with the rear brakes. If you did a Brembo caliper swap, then I'd say they would be the best option, but not everyone wants to get in that deep.

The Pfadt and Hotchkis sport sway bars are both excellent choices and you truly can't go wrong with either selection.

Best regards,

Tyler
