AFE pro dry CAI?

I was highly advised by my professional tuner to get the AFE pro dry intake (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/afe-51-11762) for my 2013 LS3 in terms of power and quality. Do you guys also recommend it as my first CAI? Also I'll be going for the Borla S-Type catback system very soon with it.

Also, I live in Bahrain so is there any good sites where I can order it online to international by UPS or something?

That CAI looks to be OK,
it looks very similar to the rotofab and K&N designs.

A large majority of the people on this site are electing to go with the CAI.

There is a thread on the board somewhere where Ted jannetty actually tested all the different intakes and posted the results, you may want to check that out before you decide on an intake.

I have this intake, not sure how big of a gain but I did feel a faster throttle response, im getting like 10HP Gain tops, but that + headers +tune you can get around 400WHP.

Do some research to see which intakes are easily accessible to you. No sense in paying a lot of money to have one shipped in for a relatively small increase in HP. That AFE looks ok.

according to the site, it gains 10+ HP and of course more torque which impressed me a lot.

NEVER and I mean NEVER trust manufacturer HP/Tq numbers unless they've been independently proven.

Here's another one. I was even highly advised to get the Air Raid filter over the AFE. Any help please as I'm pretty much confused here. Shall I go with the AFE or Air Raid now? They say it will boost me up with 30HP.

Doesn't look too bad...dry filter>oiled filter IMO.

here is the thread and look and compare the columns where it has a richer air fuel costing gas, IATs, pulls timing costing power, and then also of course the most h.p. avg h.p., most torque, avg torque gains.......

And make your decision
