Best meth kit for ZL1 & cost

I have someone wanting to purchase my car, although i have not agreed to the terms, but he wants a meth kit ,and a re-tune installed as part of the deal to make it easier to ship it over seas..

I had thought about installing a meth kit if it did not sell before i went to C5
since its just down the road ..

I have never done anything the cheap route unless it was the either the best or just as good. So even if i am doing it for someone else I would not short cut it..

My question is what is the best system for the ZL1.....
I have use snow before on My SRT-10,and on a 383 blown Iroc i use to have with good gain, and zero issues...
Those kits were not made for each car just their generic kits,,
I have read a few posts that some people have had problems with Certain kits made for the gen5,and one of them was snow, although they didn't say if they installed them or if a shop install the kits, which would in my book make a difference,as someone who has install dozens of kits would know the correct way to do it...

So If anyone or shop has first had knowledge i would be grateful for the info,so i can make sure that if i agree to his terms its done correctly, and to my standards...
Please if any shop would also like to give me a quote on a system, and re-tune please do so thanks..

Goodluck!

Why not get a recommendation from Fastlane where you had the other work done? Perhaps since they've already done the other work on your car, that can choose something they know will work best with what they've already done.

Just a thought. If it all comes from one vendor, then any future troubleshooting (if ever necessary) would be much simpler rather than one vendor point the finger at the other vendor, etc.

Plus, Fastlane is already a vendor you know well and trust.

I understand i can call nick and i always do,but there is still a difference between a vendor, and a customer....or those that have installed kits themselves.
Also if i am doing it for someone else, and yes after i received a larger than normal none refundable deposit if the kit is installed
I will weigh in on all the info i get before pulling the trigger on it.....It may be not in the cards to do it for them...But i believe in being fair on both sides..

No I am not shipping it anywhere, lol If whoever buys it will have to come FTF and trade cash for the title....Anyway I have decided not to install the kit for them, although i was already thinking of doing it,just for C5 before he made the request,as the kit can always be taken out depending on how its installed...I had a friend who just installed a kit once in a box with quick diconnections so he could move it from car to car...
I dont think i would be happy about letting it go over there ,although I am guessing your just being a smart butt about being ripped off,lol....I was not born yesterday...thks...

I would say 'trying to be funny', instead of 'trying to be a smart ass'. YMMV.
