Heartbeat hesitation

2011 L99 with heartbeat installed a year and 3000 miles ago. Ran flawlessly until a week or so ago. From a dead stop it was instant boost with the omg factor. Now...from a dead stop it leaves like its stock...for about a second, maybe 2..it then gets into boost..What's causing the delay, hesitation? I pulled the bypass actuator off and it holds vacuum. I looked for possible leaks, holes in vacuum lines and don't see anything obvious. Anyone have any insight? Thx

Mine doesn't "kick in" until about 3500 RPM. I'm assuming that's how it is supposed to run but I have nothing to compare it to.

It should be instant from off idle when floored with near zero hesitation. Yours sounds like it suffers from something similar to mine.

Do either of you hear a fluttering noise and feel a slight vibration. I know of one that's doing this and was sent back to Magnuson.

No vibration with mine. Like I said mine feels completely stock until I get on it and you can really feel the boost come in around 3500 RPM.

Works like it should except for the delay. I've pretty much eliminated a vacuum problem as the actuator functions as it should at start up. Pull vacuum hose off and engine runs rough do to unmetered air. The search goes on.

Could it be belt slippage?

I was under the impression that the advantage of a PD blower is near instant power?

It should be instant on demand. Under normal driving the car runs like stock. You'd not know that it's supercharged. There's a bypass with a vacuum operated actuator. Today I unplugged the bypass and corked off the vacuum inlet. In essence, theory making it supercharged full time trying to see if that was the root of my problem. No such luck. From a stop, floor it and it leaves like its stock for a couple seconds, then the wow factor " kicks in " I thought maybe the map sensor? But the car doesn't show that as the problem, from what I've Been reading. Maybe it is the belt. I emailed magnuson and wait for them to respond.

Found the problem. Not sure why it took a year to manifest. I bought a laptop to log with..HP Stream..for a couple hundred bucks..new.. Held the stabilitrac nannies button to turn that off, started the log and floored it. Instant response without any lag. Actually I believe it's better than before. Run fine for a year without turning them off. Who'd of thunk it

For sure have the nannies off when getting on it, it will stumble and hesitate because you are loosing traction.
