It will not be a 2010 option, maybe 2011.

Here's hoping *crosses fingers*

My only fear is that GM will package it with Rear Parking Assist or some other useless options and charge like $2k for the package.

I wonder how much it's going to cost me to swap out the dash and install if/when this does finally become available.

From what has been said by owners with the feature it works well (RPA).

Not useless in dense parking lot with bunch of darwins. If you don't mind getting your rear fender crunched and a permanent mark on your vehicle record?$$$

Mas dinero?

The correct term is HEAD up display. Only one head can see it, not two (i.e. a passenger).

The only aftermarket HUD I've seen that's actually still commercially available is GPS driven... *eh* that just seems kind've cheap to me. I want it to be integrated into the car. It's bad enough I have to suction-cup my GPS to the windshield.

I DONT KNOW IF ITS TRUE BUT I WAS TOLD YOU CAN NOT INSTALL A HUD UNLESS YOU CHANGE THE WINDSHIELD BECAUSE A CAR WITH HUD HAS A MORE REFLECTIVE WINDSHIELD...

Maybe GM is going to reprieve itself for lack of a navigation system in the camaro, and make a HUD with nav built in?

Sounds like a cool option...maybe GM thinks it's sort of negates the cool instrument panel and gauges it has already designed and installed?
