V6 brake pad for autocross

I had to use my brakes pretty hard today at the autocross and felt some grinding. (5 years old, 40k miles)

I use my car as a daily driver, so I don't want something that's going to make a lot of noise on my daily commute, but I also autocross about once a month and need something that's going to perform well.

I've been reading about hawk pads, but heard the ceramic ones are noisy? Anyone have any feedback on those?

I was thinking about performance street compound, but not sure if that's going to be enough, so I've heard about people putting the hp plus on just the front?

I don't know, I need advice.

Also, upgrading to brembos aren't an option. They won't clear my rear wheels.

Thanks for any input!

I've been using the Hawk HPS pads for about a year now. The only issue with noise is when you drag the brake. On the Hawk website, it talks about this.
Other than that, I'm satisfied with them. For autoX, I was able to go in deeper before stomping on the brakes.
This is my daily driver.

Rocking EBC Yellows for the second year now, I like em. No experience with Hawk yet. Mine only made noise during break in, otherwise quiet.
