You ever have anyone spit on your Camaro?

Yes, this is a legitimate question.

My 1LE is a month old. I baby it and care for it.

Today, I stopped by the store with my wife, and quite literally was in there for 2 minutes.

I parked in the back in a vacant area of the parking lot.

We walked right in, bought what I needed, and walked right out.

I opened the door for my wife, and she exclaimed "what is that?"

Sure enough plain as day and unmistakable,..

A fresh wad sitting on my spoiler in back.


Of course enraged and hurt, I cleaned it off with a tissue, and drove home.


What kind of sick greasy grit would do such a thing.

I am so pissed off at this.

For the entire first week I had my Camaro someone spit on it in the parking lot at my work, I had an idea who it was. Walked up to this person I suspected, didn't let him know I thought it was him. I said " can you believe someone keeps spitting on my car?" he says " who would do that?" I say " good question, probably some jealous loser that has nothing better to do with his time" he says "yeah, your probably right" then my last words to him were " well, all I can say is if I catch who is doing it I'll use their remains to fill the potholes in the parking lot after I'm through with them, then I'll use a handful of hair I rip out of their skull to clean the spit off my car." May have been a bit harsh of a statement but guess what...the spitting stopped after that....

In all honesty some people are just assholes and thrive off of chaos and knowing they made somebody have a bad day...best not to let it get to you. But oh how satisfying would it be to use that persons face to clean the spit off...

Probably just some ass driving by and saw a nice car so decided to spit on it...like I said, best not to let it get to you. I definitely understand your frustration though

A few years ago, I was discovering a new, hocked- up, chunky green loog on my driver's window, every freakin' morning. It was half dried by the time I found it each day.

One morning, however, I heard it, early in the morning. I heard some jackwad outside, heaving and hacking and conjouring up some wad of filth, preparing a mouthful of phlegmy goo to launch. I leaped out of bed, hollering and shouting and threatening to rip somebody's head off. As I rounded the corner of the building and my car came into view, I was stunned to see some old bag about 200 years old, just as she hocked the thing onto my damn window.

I "ramped it down" a little, deciding that it wouldn't be cool to actually rip an old lady's head off (I think the law frowns on it, even under these circumstances). I still confronted the ol' bag of bitch. She was just sour, and didn't like my car, for who knows what reason. Her husband was in a house nearby, heard the hollering and came running out. He apologized to me profusely, told me that she had some brain issue (ya think?), and assured me that this would never happen again.

And it didn't. Very weird.

Thats messed up, be thankful it wasn't some permanent damage tho, like a door ding..

Only time I spit on a persons car was when they dinged my door.. a glob right on their door handle

Well I am at the root and know who did it.

It wasnt an act of random jealosy or vengence or really anything like that.

That said, the person has come forward voluntarily confessed and apologised.

I was shocked. And after a long discussion I can say this is resolved to my satisfaction.

I wont be discussing it further here and am glad it is resolved.
