Footwell lighting

I have read threads about installing them to light up when the door opens or the dome light is on but all the threads are on a 2011! I have a 2012 and it's different wires under than the 2011. Anyone know how to install on a 2012?

So under your 2012 there is no gray wire that goes into a gray connector?

Could someone else with a 2012 confirm/deny this?

There is a gray one but it's connected in a different one with much more wires than before

Okay I found a gray wire(s). There are multiple gray wires. So the one I need is connected into the gray port?

i have a 2012 ss and i wan tot put footwell lighting in to go on and off wiht the doors i already put some lights under the doors that do this,
can i do the footwells off the inside connector of the door power wires, or the wires that lead to the door on the inside of the car
using this

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=243070
