Stabili-Trak Fault Warning
Went around a corner yesterday. Back end kicked out a bit. Traction control light came on then the DIC indicated the fault. All three indicators on the display came on and stayed on.
No response to controls. Scanning the car showed no codes while the Stabili-trak fault was being displayed. Shut the car down for several hours. When restarting the fault was cleared and traction control worked as normal. Anyone one else seen this? Rob

Normal operation. That is what happens when you do things like that. All good. Carry on and enjoy.

Any reason why it would stay like this for 20+ minutes?
Does not seem like a normal thing. My 4th gen, C5, and C6 had traction control activiate without any fault notification....ever. Rob

Once the stabilitrac, low power mode, power steering warnings come on they stay on until the ignition is turned off for 5 minutes. After the ignition is off for 5 minutes it will do a normal diagnostic check on start. Most of conditions that throw the car into these modes will go away if the car is off for 5 minutes. So the car runs normal again after it has been left off for 5 minutes.
If there is some kind of code that throws the car into any of the above conditions it should be stored until it is reset. Hard to say if the condition reset and no code exists. Have you changed your throttle body? That is my first suspect in stabilitrack codes because the first thing the car tries to do when it senses too much wheelspin is close the throttle body some.... If the throttle body does not react like it thinks it should it turns on the stabilitrac warning.

Nope, no changes to the throttle body.
Only mod is the Roto Fab CAI. That's been on for a couple thousand miles. No issues. The only thing that may remotely come into play is time on the chassis dyno on Saturday. During the last run it appears power was being pulled out especially on the torque curve. I first thought of wheel slipage and did not think much about it. Only other item is that the throttle position sensor on Torque Pro was only indicating 83.9% at full throttle. I figured this was just scaling on Torque. I do remember on the 4th Gen an adjust on the TPS to get 100%... Maybe there is a tie in.... Rob
