Couple of Questions
I have a 2014 2SS/RS L99 and have a couple of questions.
1st is that I live in Alaska and the highest octane we have is 90. Should I use an additive? 2nd question is that I'll be doing my own oil changes using Amsoil Sig Series 5W30, is there any type of indicator when you reach 3,000 miles that needs to be reset and if so how do you reset it? Thanks in advance Joe |

90 octane is plenty for your car.
I replace my engine oil and rear dif oil at 500 miles to get all the filings out. Read your owners manual about the oil change intervals and how to reset it. I too do my own oil changes. The car has a very ingenius way to determine oil change interval. I just follow that. When the computer tells me to change the oil, I change it. Never go longer than a year between changes. |

When I lived in AK I used Torco with every tank and worked for me. Of course your fine with 90 like Dimitrim said.
