Flowmaster Series 10 + Resonator Tips

well it's taken me long enough to get some video of this. I know in my other thread on the exhaust someone asked for a drive by. Don't have anyone to hold the camera for me, so here's what the exhaust sound like with my GoPro mounted just above the exhaust in the taillight lens.

I had the tips installed at the same time the exhaust was installed. Mainly looking for them to cancel out drone and they do a fine job from inside the car. Not sure how the exhaust would sound with just the Series 10 mufflers.

You can check out some of my other exhaust videos in my channel.

thanks

Now, that's a proper sounding exhaust.
Congrats.

Thanks I've had the exhaust on the car since last Summer but finally got a GoPro and wanted to get a decent video of how it sounded.

I have the 10 series on mine also, but I kept factory tips for now. It was a more budget friendly option, $140 for Mufflers & $90 to have welded on. Love it, especially the price.

See that was the situation I was in. l got a smoking deal on the Flowmasters from a local muffler shop. I also got a discount on everything because my company uses them for fleet repair on exhaust systems. I think I got out of there for around $160 with parts and labor after discount.

Yeah I bet it sounds great with the headers. Makes it roar a little bit more.

Yeah I couldn't beat the deal. I bought K&N CAI with the money I saved. I plan on changing the tips to matt/flat black soon, but they're more than I want to spend online. So i'll probably just get some PepBoy's/AutoZones for $60 a pair.

That's what I did. Snagged my resonator tips from Advanced Auto. I mainly went for them to help cancel drone. Before I did my exhaust I read on here of many people that experienced drone in some form or another. So when I went to have my exhaust done at the shop, I gave them the tips to throw on there just for good measure. Believe it or not, I don't get much drone from the exhaust. Can't really say it's attributed to the tips but I would think they are helping. Only time I get drone and this is weird, is when it rains heavy and either the mufflers get wet or the drastic temperature change(here in Colorado, a storm can drop temps from 90 degrees to in the high 50's as it rolls through) cause them to give off the slightest bit of drone.

Will do, I'll get some tomorrow and upload them here for you. If you watch a couple of other videos, I know one of them shows a rear end shot of me filming the exhaust. But you'll get a chance to hear some of the other clips as well from me revving it in the garage and acceleration on the road from inside the car.

Here's some pics I snagged today real quick of what the setup looks like. It's an axle back setup. You can see the Flowmaster Series 10's and had the resonator tips welded on as well. Hope this is what you were looking for.

I've changed my exhaust system like 6 times, and my cosmetic stripes like 8 times hahahaha.
Lol! 6 time! Wow that's a lot on the quest for the right exhaust tone. Well good luck with if you change it again..
