Other Camaros

Do you park next to others when you see them in a parking lot? There was a white C5 in a lot and I parked across from it, we were nose to nose. Another time someone with a RRM C5 parked next to me in a lot, they were kind enough to leave an empty space between us.

Just curious.

Oddly enough, I park in the closest available spot to my destination that is easily attainable without searching for longer than it takes to walk, regardless of nearby vehicles.

On this forum, that makes me a unicorn holding the holy grail in terms of parking.

Uh parking... I usually park far out from others where the territory is claimed by Mustangs, Camaros, Lexus, Mercedes, Audi, and an occasional Porsche. I will usually park near them, but not next to them. Since I am far out I will usually park over the line just a little to make it look like it was done by accident. 80% of the time I'll park out in the boonies just like other well maintained and appreciated camaros would do. I remember one time I did such a thing next to a Mustang GT. Next thing I knew there was a silver ls, red jewel RS, imperial blue SS, and a black 2014 1LE! Five camaros all in one area, yeah we beat that "pony"!!

Since it's pushing 100 degrees here and I'm getting lazy to walk I will find one of those spots next to a curb and park literally 2 inches from the curb to avoid dumba**es flinging their door open and singing your door with their 20 year old beater with duct taped bumper.

The only time I park next to another car would be if I spot a nice photo op.

I will usually park far but if I see a nice car that will keep me protected from door dings I will try to park next to it.
For instance went to the post office the other day and spotted a black SRT8 one spot away from the grassy section. Parked between the challenger and grass so no way to get a door ding on one side, and the challenger is most likely only going to open the driver's door and if not, they are usually more careful with their cars than people with a beat up kia or something.

At work I always park one of the cars we're working on that I know won't be moving/leaving so as to avoid door dings.

I too park a distance away but at work that only lasts a short time as the lot fills up. If I am shopping I also try to keep to the empty part of the lot, but usually what was an empty part of the lot does begin to fill up.

I generally park far away from everything. I do have a lot of other camaros park next to me. I think it also has something to do with the fact they trust I'm not going to ding their car.

^^^ I typically park far away but when forced to park near others I look for a nice car. Be it Camaro or otherwise.
