How many models of the new camaro are there?
Hey guys,
Quick question. I know theres the V6 300 ponies and then the SS with 426. Is there one in between?Like a V8 with less horsepower then the SS? Like how theres a Hemi and a SRT8? Thanks Manny |

V8 L99 engine with 400 hp. It is what you get if you order the SS with auto.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

well the title of the thread is a little missleading, HOWEVER,
the Question ask was: "How many models of Camaro are there?" the Answer: 5.... LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and, 2SS. 3 with V6's, 2 with V8's.

The SS's have essentially the same performance whether you pick 1SS or 2SS, LS3 (manual) or L99 (auto). It is not like the late 4th gens where you had the Z28 then the SS with a bit more power.
