Lingenfelter upgrade side effect, nice

While driving my 13 ZL-1 home from a Lingenfelter 630 hp upgrade, I noticed a nice side effect from the upgrade.
After driving my car the initial 2000 mile breakin this past winter in florida, I found my best mpg on the interstate, at 65-70 mph was just over 19 mpg. During the drive home last week, I was playing with the info center and reset my mpg display. I was pleasantly surprised to find my tune and mods resulted in average highway mpg of 21.5 @ 71mph. Just another reason to be happy with the tune and mods.
As I documented in my other post, the dyno run prior to upgrades did show my rwhp to be down 50 hp from approximately 470 rwhp expected. I can only assume the tune while correcting the factory rwhp also directly effected my mpg.
What mileage numbers are you guys seeing, either factory stock or after a tune?

If your HP was down that much, your original tune may have been in the low octane timing map. If the dealer ran low octane gas through it that would happen. That's one reason people pull fuse #5 and #20 to reset the ECU so it starts fresh. Another reason I like the Palmer Performance DashLogic. I monitor total timing, knock retard, and IAT2. If you notice that your total timing is significantly less than regular with no KR, then you can reset the ECU to get back in the high octane map. My car usually runs 23-23.5* of timing when going wide open throttle with the stock tune.

This makes sense to me. Car had 37 miles on it when I bought it from the dealer.

Sounds like a great product...does it datalog? Meaning record values over time? would you definitely recommend it for a 630 Lingenfelter package,,that I am thinking of? Thank you, sir!
