Didn't think this would happen (props from a Mustang owner)
Hey Guys,
I thought I'd share my experience on Saturday. I was driving on the 401 in Toronto and noticed a White 2014 GT mustang coming up behind me. We just so happened to get off at the next exit and he pulled up beside me at the light, got me to roll down my window and start to give me compliments on my 2014 black 2SS 1LE. Totally surprised me. Asked me specs and loved the look. Just shows you how nice car guys are when they appreciate a beautiful beast.

The 1LE is getting attention. I went on a Mustang forum just to look at different threads and saw that the 1LE was mentioned several times. I think that the people get confused and mistake the 1LE for a ZL1. I have gotten several thumbs up from Mustangs! Now that the Z28 is non RS, that also adds confusion. The 1LE is a beautiful beast for sure.

I always thumbs up other cool muscle cars and they always give me the thumbs in return. It's how it should be if you ask me.

I ran into a few cool mustang owners on the road. I give a polite honk, rev, or thumbs up and always vet the same in return.

Coming from a former Mustang owner, when I had my GT I always gave a polite wave/rev to the Camaro drivers. Some ignored me and some returned the favor, I never had any negative reactions though.
Now that I have a Camaro, the other drivers seem to be the ones initiating the thumbs up and I just return the favor

My dad owns a 05' Mustang GT. He's pretty jealous.

Hey guys, Mustang owners are not the Taliban. They are car lovers just like us. In fact I find most of them are like me in that they are not overly brand loyal.
I never understood the Chevy vs. Ford thing. I've had a Mustang and now a Camaro. I loved them both. Before that I had two BMW M3's. I'm just glad that American cars are getting so good that I don't need to go to BMW for a great driver's car. I was close to getting a Shelby before I bought my ZL1. I'm sure I would have been happy with the Shelby too.
