Camaro and coyote 5.0 pics

So i stopped by awful waffle for some healthy grubb and saw thjs black 5-0 and of coarse had to park next to it. The owner heard my cammin ls3 and came out which led up to a 45 minute decent conversation. We both share a love for american muscle and appreciate both cars. There is a meet at area 51 where some fun runs occur. Qnyway here are the pics.

I find the base GT to be bland looking.

Also I think front license plates and front license plate holders should go straight to hell!

It is cool that he wasnt a DB. I find many new 5.0 owners to be real pompous dicks. They were so butthurt after years and years of the pathetic 4.6 getting walked all over by LTx and LSx power( other than the fluke terminators) that now that they finally have a good motor they think they are gods gift.

I remember 4.6's with power adders not being able to hang with a bolt on LS1 in my Formula years ago.

Probably has a lot to do with it. The car finally has guts and they think they are king kong. Of course us GM guys stoke that fire a bit though as well.

Now granted most of the mustangs I ran with back in the day had the initial GM vs. Ford thing, but they usually sent us (My Formula, A friends TA and a Vette) after the faster cars when needed. In Mexico...

I say it everytime.. Thank you god I dont live in a state with stupid front license plate requirements or windshield dmv tags! praise the lord! Bet I could fit about 20 chicken wings on that "GT" plate!

You got that right. They both need each other and I dont understand all the hate back and forth with some people....I love both the Camaro & Mustang and have owned MANY of both, and damn proud of it...

It's a friendly rivalry. I like the Terminator Cobra and the new 5.0 and always loved the Fox 5.0 GTs back in the day.

I drove a 66 Mustang to HS in the 90s and loved it. Just had the inline 6, but it still got a ton of looks and was a lot of fun.

I have buddies in all three of the big ones... Mopar, Ford, GM, so it makes for funny bench racing and table talk.

Very true indeed. We destroyed the stangs from 93-2010, the only one half way worth a darn was the 03/04 cobras. They were garbage and came 2011 some of the owners are beyond annoying i must admit.

This owner was an all american muscle car guy like myself. His previous car was an 11.60 1/4 mile built gto (2006) which he sold after 98k miles and picked up the Stang. Oddly enough his second chioce was the camaro ss l99. I totally enjoyed out convo and best part was we complimented each others car, there was no animosity or chest pumping lol.

On a second note with the 6th gen shedding 200-300 lbs (rumured) and gaining the lt1 we might take the torch againg bc the stang is actually gaining 80 lbs. This is gunna be interesting

I actually had a silver 5.0 park next to our Camaro at dinner last weekend. both cars backed in at the end of the parking lot. Car guys have to stick together. Plus we knew we would not ding each others rides.
