ZL1 Bumper

I am new to camaros and new to this site, I have posted a couple of things, but as with other forums, the search button leaves a lot to be desired. I am wanting to do several mods to my 2012 convertible SS, thie first of which is the front bumper. I want to add the ZL1, but I want to keep the mail slot. there is a company, ACS, that sells a ZL1 modified with a mail slot. They are in canada, and with shipping it is well over $1300.00. My question is this...Is there a size difference in the SS and ZL1 bumper? My reason for asking is that ACS also offers bumper ports that look like the ZL1. If the bumpers are the same size from top to bottom of bumper, then adding the slots, lights and the lower splitter, would make it look just like a ZL1. Anyone know if this is the case?

I have seen an aftermarket ZL1 bumper with the mail slot that I think Ohio Speed was selling. They are a sponsor on here so maybe check with them to see availability of it. ACS has the T3 & T4 ports that do look good on the SS bumper.
Found this on ebay (probably same kit for more money as Ohio Speed): http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2013-CH...3f7c59&vxp=mtr

Bmbbl be, I guess I will just have to go that route myself. Your car looks good! Is it lowered or is that stock ride height?

Justjoshin, I have seen that on ebay, just worries me that it is not an OEM bumper. Aftermarket can be good, but it can also be very bad. Dont want something that a body shop has to "make" fit. ACS uses a OEM GM Zl1 abd modifies it with a slot. I'll see if I can find anything on Ohio Speed.

Thanks for the replies

How much did the grille cost you just out of curiosity? Did you install yourself or have someone do it?
