Plasti Dip - WHOLE CAR?!?!

Just curious if anyone has seen, or tried to Plasti Dip an entire car.

I've seen a few cars (mostly imports) that have painted their entire car in Plasti Dip, and it looks good (in pictures at least) but I'm curious about the long term effects?

I read a thread elsewhere that showed the type of damage dried up Plasti Dip has to a car’s paint, and it's not a pretty sight. Curious what the long term effects of such an undertaking would be.

(NOTE: I'm not planning to do this, but was curious about the process and efefcts.)

Look up Dipyourcar.com there's a whole Youtube channel on it. They clam it will last for years if you maintain it properly.

Plasti dip is a great product. However it has its downsides that pretty much deem it inferior in some cases. It peels easily with the oils of your skin aka door handles, hood, trunk, gas cover. It also is dissolved by gasoline. I have thought many times to have my car redone, then again I like detailing and having a shiny car. To each their own.
