LS wheels with silver ring

can anyone confirm that the silver ring around the heritage steel wheel is removable? I ordered an LS and think they are hideous but removing that silver ring if possible would make them look better.

I'm fairly sure that you can remove the ring, but the wheels are twice as hideous without them, IMO.

This is true, which is why if I'm going to do this on an LS, I'm sand blasting portions to remove the black paint, brushing, then clear powercoating them to look more 80s Gbody. On an LS I think that'd look much more respectable than just gloss black painted steels and could run without the rings.

think they're shipped from factory w/o rings installed(to be done @ dealer)..too plain w/o 'em IMO. Member here posted a yellow LS..way sweet. Were me I'd add the HS/hood stripes to complete the look..
