Rear Driver Side O2 Plug: HELP!

Ok, got the passenger side header/highflow cat installed, but I'm at a stand still with the drivers side because I can't get the damn rear O2 harness unplugged to drop the cat pipe.

Basically, I can't get that little locking tab pulled out of the plug to unplug the harness. The passenger side I was able to slide up a pair of dykes to snip it off, no way on the drivers side.

Anyone just try removing the O2 sensor while the plug/harness still engaged. I did this before on another car and though it wound the crap out of the harness it did spin off with no damage to the wires. I'm little reluctant on this setup as the wire harness is way shorter and I'm thinking a lot less forgiveness.

If I can't spin the 02 sensor as an option, any tips/tools needed so I can that damn plug unplugged?

slide the o2 wires that are attached to the firewall side of the driverside heads. this will give you the slack to snip that plastic clip off. wouldn't try to turn the o2 with it connected

It's not the front O2's I'm having an issue with, it's the rear drivers side.

Got it! I had to pry off the female connector from the transmission housing so I could drop the whole plug housing down to get at it. Now, I have to figure out how to get it back in.
