locked out of camaro
I am locked out of my Camaro. Both of my key fobs don't work and inserting key in key hole doesn't work either. I do have the Technostalgia taillights. I had to change ouy the fuse in the wire between the taillights and battery. What's the problem?

Inserting the key in the key hole doesn't work? It's mechanical, so is it jammed when you turn it or something? Did you try the passenger side?

I'm curious, I know there is a setting in the radio where you can turn off the key in the door.
Sent from the desert.

Can't get in the trunk, key doesn't work on the key hole. It turns but nothing happens. None of the buttons work on the key fob

The door lock cylinder turns freely
when either the wrong key is used, or the correct key is not fully inserted. The free turning door lock feature prevents the lock from being forced open. To reset the lock, turn it to the vertical position with the correct key fully inserted. Remove the key and insert it again. If this does not reset the lock, turn the key half-way around in the cylinder and repeat I thought this was cool.. I just tried it and there is no free wheeling lock on mine. It just won't turn if its not fully seated.. OP make sure the key is clean, maybe flip it over.. the tumblers use both sides of the key. so may be there is dirt in one of the cuts |

guess you'll have to break the window, heard it is quite a work out to break one of the door windows

So I made a stupid mistake. I was turning the key the wrong way. I didn't turn it to the left hard enough. Got my buddy to get me a jump. All good now except the left taillights stay on when I turn the car off. What's wrong now wit the left taillights. Why don't they turn off???

Why would anyone want to do that? I don't think you are correct. Nothing in the owners manual about it either.

if you didn't it is likely grounding itself in the trunk, thus keeping them in show mode. I cut the wire end off mine so no wire exposed, then sealed it with heat shrink, and mushed the heat shrink end so that it was sealed.
