my underhood lighting project
A strip led (light looks like a ribbon LED, called a daytime running light) above the radiator pointing toward the engine and two eagle eye style LEDS placed in the hood liner fastened to a 6" round piece of thin plexiglass so it stays flush with the liner.
Used a waterproof toggle switch so light doesn't have to stay on. Positioned it behind cold air intake. Very happy with results. Project cost just under $25. Last edited by Lacpac; 11-02-2014 at 07:57 AM. |
