Mustang Ecoboost tune ONLY
I came across this video on YouTube, and I thought it would be great to show these times. I hope this hasn't been discussed yet, but I'm still in shock.

I test drove one of those ecoboost mustangs before they came out and they are really impressive even without a tune. When the turbo kicks in you defintely feel it push you in your seat more than expected

How is this possible?
Is this just from a tune? This could be very embarrassing for a lot of V8 owners...the ultimate sleeper.

When they come out with track times it's going to be even more impressive, I have to give the new mustangs credit they still don't have the styling of the camaro but that eccoboost will destroy our base camaros in almost every other way. When I was taking corners in the mustNg all I could think was "damn id be sideways 2 seconds ago if I was in my camaro".

I'm not surprised. It's probably a very aggressive tune. I wonder how reliable the car is now. I'd be surprised if they can get 20 passes on that tune without issues eventually.

Here is the story on that car (there is a separate thread on it on the Other Vehicles section by the way)
With just a tune and different wheels/tires it ran a high 12s. With that same tune on drag radials it ran a mid to low 12. (This is the tune they will be offering customers) With a more aggressive tune on race gas and removing the passenger seat and drag radials it did that 11.8 pass. This tune will not be offered to just anyone. Look out stock, or stock-ish V8s. I called it long ago. Anyone whos read anything about these modern turbo 4s knows that with an aggressive tune they are quick as hell in a drag. From a roll the V8 may have a bit more of an advantage.
