Potenza run flats...worth the $$$
I have a question? Has anyone used Bridgestone Potenza's on there ZL1 and are they worth the $3000.00 they're asking for them? I have the F1's on my car now but in the rain or on wet pavement they're not that great. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

3 grand? Hell no not for me! I put the michelin ss pilot tires on and they are ok i guess.Lots of cars on here are running these and they are satisfied with them.I put a set on my car and there is less road noise with them which I like but I also think there is a little more traction with them than the GY's.

Run flats have firmer ride quality due to the stiffer sidewalls.

All the runflat tires are HEAVY if you care about weight.

Thanks for the info guys. I will take a look at the Michelins and I don't track my car so weight isn't going to be a big deal breaker for me. Thanks again to all that replied.

runflats suck for anyting other than running flat. there stiff sidewall will always hinder strait line grip IMO. there weight adds to you unsprung weight. they usually ride a tad harsher but depending on what pressures you run low sidewal tires ride harsh anyway.
if you have a flat though they beat the hell out a normal tire ha ha.
