sunroof clank

Brought my 2012 SS into the dealer for a metal against glass sound when I close the door with the windows closed The sunroof is bouncing. Supposedly a mechanic at the dealer looked at it greased this or that whatever The manager says there is nothing wrong yet the problem is still there. Any help appreciated

Apologies to hear about the sunroof clank. I realize how displeasing it can be when faced with a concern like this. Have you contacted a second dealer? I would be happy to communicate this situation with the designated Customer Experience Manager at your preferred dealer if you feel another official diagnosis is necessary.

When you brought your car in what did they tell you?

Mine has done this since the day I got it. It does not appear to be closing/locking all the way because I can still push it up a little bit with my hand when it's closed. When I shut the door, the pressure inside the car causes it to pop up and make the clank sound. It also rattles a lot when I'm driving and going over bumps, not sure if it's related.

Mine started making the noise today, never had the problem before today.
With the sun roof closed it made the noise while hitting a few bumps. with the sun roof open it rattled like crazy. if I pushed up on the headliner it would stop.
when I got home I cold make it do it by pushing on the sun roof.
about a 30 min later I asked my son to come out and listen to it and it wouldn't do it.
if it still makes the noise tomorrow, I am going to the dealer.

Never had this problem yet, take some time and clean the cavity around the sunroof with a rag and windex and around all the edges of the sunroof so it closes snugly with the weatherstripping materials provided !

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. ANYONE HAVE A SOLUTION ON THIS? I THINK MINE LEAKS NO TOO.
