Wax and Xylon

I paid the $500.00 for the Xylon coating on the car when she came in and they say I don't have to wax it for 3-5 years Not sure if I would want to do that, any thoughts. Clay bar, wax, mop-n-glow What do you all recommend?

Mine was done for free, says the dealer, not sure, don't care either. FL sun is no joke, I would still do the regular washing and waxing.

What does mop n glow do. A neighbor told me put mix it in with my normal washing.........never have, it definitely doesnt sound safe

I do a CQuartz coating (which is supposed to be good for life) myself every couple of years (yes this year is only the 2nd time I will have done it. Probably very much like the Xylon. Then Ill throw a sealant on and for fun, lay a real nice wax on top.
I can only say proofs in the pudding because my paint is awesome and always a good conversation.
I find the wax refreshes that "wet buttery" look and the new waxes are so easy to work with. Wax on, wax off.

The mop-glow was a joke from my military days, but I thought we are not supposed to wax the hood?

I don't put anything on the hood. Anytime I have clayed the car, I will also clay the hood wrap, but don't use any product on it.
And always dry it after washing.
