My RGB scanner is going nuts after it rained today. The plastic sleeve is cracked and brittle, letting water in and shorted it out.
My question is..now that the new pre-bent ones are available, have you replaced yours? Do the new ones cover the holes made in the facia to install the older version?
Just wondering if I should stick with the old style, or upgrade.

I have the new one but I haven't installed it yet. It looks like it will cover all the holes perfectly, but you have to cut and reconnect the wires to get them through the front facia..

I'm not sure how the old one was, but there is no other way to get the wires from the scanner to the fuse panel. With the RF module inline, you can't just pass it through. Is that how the original one was?
