what is the best product to clean stock grill inserts?

I just use soap and water. It has worked pretty good so far. I really don't like using any type of bug and tar remover or any other type of cleaner.

After washing try Poorboys Natural Look or something similar to Mother's Back to Black. It'll take it the last step to keeping it look like new.
