New car, cosmetic question!

Hello guys I'm new here! I read all through the forums last night while at work and I can say that I'm extremely excited to be a part of the family. When I purchased my vehicle I noticed the bottom right corner had like peeling paint. I Assume that its plasti dip. If so could I just purchase a can of paint and go over it?

Yes you can, but it will look horrible. So I recommend to pell completely off all the plastidip, wash it, dry it, and redip it!

I wouldn't think so. It looks like the stuff that has already peeled came off right along the line between the splitter and the fascia.

Good luck and welcome to C5!!!

I have touched up plastidip without removing it. Just clean the area, removed any loose plastidip, mask off the area and respray. The plastidip will blend right in with the existing.

This is true. Peeling it isn't a bad idea. But most likely un necessary. Plastidip is extremely forgiving and you can blend it into the old paint. It will kind of melt or fuse into the existing plastidip unlike regular paint. My friend once did his spoiler and touched it a couple minutes later and there was a huge finger print. He blended a few more coats into that area and was perfect
