Bush Timing???
Anyone done this on their stock suspension Z after any rear end work? I'm still fighting with a bouncy rear suspension and I came across multiple threads in the suspension section that talk about doing this after a lowering spring install. I don't have lowering springs but my differential was replaced a while back. Thoughts?

Yes,
It should be done after any major suspension work. The trick is finding a alignment shop that knows anything about bush timing. It can be a pain in the ass finding one. Here's some docs that may help.

Would the lack of this being done account for the bouncy, unsettled feeling from the rear end?

I have never heard of such a thing. Is this a common problem?

They for sure need to be re-timed and aligned.
here's a link that explains why and how http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...bushing+timing

Well I bit the bullet and had this done last night with a very accommodating Kauffman Tire Center. One thing I found surprising, once the bolts were loosened, there was about a 1/4" drop in ride height at the rear. It definitely feels different but I didn't have time to do anything other than drive home. Time will tell if this resolves my problem. Fingers crossed.

Definitely! I usually do all my own work so whenever I have someone else touching my car I am right there. Actually, I was the one bouncing the suspension.
