Twin disc clutch pedal feel??
Ok so I just picked my car up from the shop. Had the master slave cylinder bearing blow out. 2 1/2 weeks and $3000 later and the car is finally done. I went with a twin disc clutch since things during this process just kept adding up and I figured, why not?
Pushing the pedal in to disengage the clutch feels smooth and close to the same as stock. When lifting and engaging the clutch, there is close to..no, absolutely zero feeling of the engagement point. The feeling is extremely smooth like butter but I cant feel at all when the clutch starts to grab. In between gears is amazing! There is very little feeling of engagement at all and it is so smooth. This is my first time driving a car with a twin disc clutch in it. Is the lack of engagement feeling under my foot normal? Something that I will just have to learn to get used to? Does it get better with break in?

Not really sure what "perfect" means by your definition.
My main question is, do twin disc clutches have less of an engagement feel in the pedal than stock? Like...I cant see myself sitting on a hill rocking the car back and fourth like I could before. Not that I do that all the time but I am using that as an example for the kind of control I am talking about with the engagement and slipping of it. Maybe I just need a few more days to get used to it.
