Stock Subwoofer on 2011 2SS/RS Coupe and Stereo Issues.

Hey guys,

I just recently have been having issues with my camaro's stereo system. I have the Boston Acoustic premium package. I have several questions:

Where is my Stock Subwoofer? Does it come with one?

If the Radio Bass goes away completely and just mono sound comes out, what does that mean?

I sent my camaro to a shop and they are recommending replacing the whole radio setup and going completely after market. I dont want to do that. The Most i would do is upgrade to a MY Link system. How do I fix my stereo sound from shutting off like this. Also after this happened, the bass in my car hasnt been the same.

Only the convertible with a BA system gets a subwoofer, the coupe does not.

As to the sound issues you are having, sounds like the factory radio has a problem. You can either replace the factory radio with another of the same factory radio, go for a My Link upgrade, or go with an aftermarket unit and dash kit.
