Painting headlight reflectors on Non-RS?

I hate the look of Non-RS headlights, and im going to be baking opening my lights soon to add Halos. My question is can i use some sort of plastic paint to paint the mirrors/reflectors in the headlight to a reflective black? Or will that not reflect good enough/ paint will melt?

You wont get any light output if you paint the reflectors...you could paint them if you did a projector retrofit while you have them open though

What will the light reflect off of? The "glossy" part of the paint?

Go in your bathroom, leave the lights off and close the door. Shine a flashlight in the mirror. Pretty damn bright. Now shine the flashlight onto something black. Not very bright. Same thing with painting your headlights. Not very bright.
