My first 2 mods!

My 1st mod: I order custom fit Coco Mats from www.cocomats.com I have had them in several other cars and they never really show any signs of wear. They are extremely durable and very good quality. Set of 4 - $215.00 shipped.

My 2nd mod: I had the Ventureshield Ultra clearbra installed on the entire front cap, including the headlights, turn signals and fogs. This install included the entire rocker panel and door sill, the gill area up to the body line and mirrors. (see pics)

My opinion on the Ventureshield Ultra: It looks very glossy and natural as far as the finish goes, but does have a slight yellow hue to it, probably more noticeable on the Summit White. The installer did a good job of hiding the seams, you really have to look close to see them. There are a couple of stretch marks on one side of the from cap that I am going to let them look at. I feel the only way to fix stretch marks is to replace that piece. Overall I think they did a good job - this mod is very expensive - $860.00, but they do not have Summit White splash guards available and I know that those gill areas will take a beating if not protected.

Looks nice, but I prefer the Lloyd's Custom Mats.

Good looking car. I'm sure you are really proud of it. Is that Race Deck on the floor? Sweet looking garage. I have been considering that. What is your opinion? Can you use a floor jack on it? I do have to agree with Onereign, I LOVE my Lloyds mats. Regards, Bob

Thanks Kwik!

My garage floor is "GarageDeck" from www.bigfloors.com - they were great to deal and they offer free shipping. It was very easy to install. It will support approx. 41,000 lbs. so a jack stand should not be a problem.

I have the Lloyds logo mats in my Corvette and I love them - but the Corvette is not a daily driver - for me the Cocomats hold up better for daily use.

Thanks for the heads up on that website. They have some great pricing. The decking you have is a lot more reasonable than Race Deck. I had one style of rubber decking that would pull apart when you turned the wheels. Any problems with the stuff you have? Your garage looks awesome! Seems only right that a nice set of cars have a classy stable. Thanks again for the help. Regards, Bob

Bob,

I did a lot of research prior to deciding on that brand and I have been very happy with it. The locking manner of the tiles is very sturdy and I have not had any problems with it. They will even give you 10% off if you tell them you are a member of the Camaro5 Forum. You will need a saw blade made for cutting hard plastic.

Thanks!
Mark
