Removing window and door trim mouldings...

There's already been one thread on this, but it never went anywhere, so I'm posting a new one.

Does anyone know how to remove the upper solid plastic window trim molding and the rubberized door trim molding?

The reason is because I want to clean all the grime that has undoubtedly accumulated under those moldings over the years, not to mention give the moldings themselves a deep cleaning.

I keep hearing they're riveted on, but I want to get a second opinion first.
