VMR V710s Offset Issue

Anyone on the forum running these right now? My question is in regards to running the 20x9" fronts.

As I posted in the main forum, i am running into confusion on what offset to run in the front, the ET20 or ET35 wheels.

If anyone who is currently running them would chime in, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I going to run ET35 20x10" in the rear and I want a nice even look between front and back, without running into any rubbing issues in the front.

Thank you!

Play around with this calculator a little bit. Your OEM wheels and tires are front 20x8 offset 35 with 245/45/20 and rear 20x9 offset 40 with 275/40/20.
http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

You could run:
20x9 et 20 front with 275/40/20 (stick out 30mm more than OEM)
20x10 et 35 rear with 305/35/20 (stick out 20mm more than OEM)
This is a super aggressive setup.
A 10 mm difference between the front and the back is what you want because the backs are already sitting 10mm further out than the fronts in the OEM setup.

Or you could go conservative with:
20x9 et35 front with 275/40/20 (stick out 15mm more than OEM)
20x10 et 35 rear with 275/40/20 (stick out 5mm more than OEM)
If you do this you might as well go with a squared setup so you go rotate. Either go 20x9 or 20x10 all the way around. et 35

That's what I had on my 2010
I did run 20x9 35mm on all four corners

If I run the ET20, they will safely fit under the fender?

The ZL-1 and the 1LE run a 20x10 et 23 with a 285/35/20 tire up front. This sticks out even more than et20 with a 275/40/20. You should be fine.

Thats a great comparison there. Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for.

So to confirm one last time, with a 20x9 et20 in the front, i will fit under the fender and the front & back will look almost in alignment?

Take a look at this car. If you run 20x9 et20 with 275/40/20 up front it's going to stick out 3mm further than this car in the youtube. Pretty aggressive.

If you do fronts at et20 the 20x10 et35 in back with 305/35/20 will pair nicely with the fronts on the look.
