DIC favorite screen for track use

I have checked many screens after confirming my temps are well within the safe range and have determined that the digital speedometer as my favorite DIC setting while on track. The g meter is cool but not very useful IMHO. Why didn't GM include a shift light feature like in the ZL1 to help while on track? Seems like a "punt" by GM as this could have easily been added. Heads up display on a track only type vehicle would have been good too. How much could that hardware for those electronics weigh?

Good points all, though I alternate between tire pressures and the temp display on the DIC.

I think the main thing driving the content "deletions" you mention is the reduced wiring harness in the Z/28, which was instituted for weight savings.
