wrapping stock 20's in vinyl

Has anyone tried this? Despite the process itself being daunting, i feel like a good final product could become of it, not to mention it's not that expensive. thoughts?

I would think hydro dipping would be a better option if you were going to do that.

Way to expensive to have my wheels painted 2 tone so a local guy suggested using gold vinyl tape a try. It turned out really good and it's been over 5 years now and it's holding up as if it was just done.

I have plastidip w/ glossifier now, and for one reason or another (probably bad prep work) the edges won't stay down on them. I figured vinyl has an actual adhesive on it, not to mention consistent texture/finish, so they may look better and maybe even be easier to clean dust off of since i'd be using gloss black vinyl (or brushed black metallic, look it up, it's sexy!)

anyone else have any input? i'd probably use 3m's adhesion promoter as well. it looks like the job would be pretty straight forward. these wheels don't have much complexion to them. not to mention, i'd be using 3m's 1080 film
