I think you can beat that price quite a bit so shop around maybe?
I do not buy an Extended Warranty as I usually don't keep a car long enough to need the security of one but that's just me. One thing to check with a fine tooth comb are the 'What this covers' and 'What is not covered' sections. All warranties usually have these.

I would stick with the GMPP. The state of Florida regulates the price but any other state, price is negotiable. They also offer 0% financing for 18 months with 10% down. You'll need to direct withdraw the payments from a checking account or credit card.
I sell them for a living. Feel free to PM me if you need any more assistance. |

With apologies to Kgendron, I would go with the new Cheverolet Extended Protection Plan (sometimes referred to as GMEPP). It is managed and owned by GM, where as GMPP is not, and GMPP will soon no longer be connected to the GM systems. That said, GMPP is still a good warranty (I have it on a couple of vehicles) and if the price was much better, it may be worth it. I went with GMEPP on the ZL1.
The GMEPP will cover the Zl1 mag shocks, the GMPP will not. I know of 2 excellent dealers that will provide great pricing (one on both plans, one only on GMEPP), if you decide to go that route. Of course, if you go GMPP, kgendron is a forum member, so, that might be a great first stop as well. |

I didn't know there are two factory warranties now offered with GM products. I sell Nissan so please excuse my ignorance. I still recommend buying the FACTORY warranty. Whatever they call it these days.

Modification to your car won't void your warranty. However, if you damage your car because it's modified, warranty may or may not cover it. For example, a blown transmission on a modified car probably won't be covered but a broken radio would be. The breakdown must be related to the modification for them not to cover the warranty.
