I've Finally Cracked - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The dealership texted me a picture friday of my new 2010 Yellow Camaro 2SS RS with black rally stripes, and i'm 5 hours away at college. I am going home this friday and they are staying open until I get there to pick it up. I was fine through the weekend, but now all I can think about is the car sitting there without me. The dealership was kind enough to store it for me away from the public, but i'm still so depressed that i'm not behind the wheel. Only 3 Days 19 hours and 21 minutes until I meet my new Camaro!!!!!!

Go out, party and play video games until it's time to go home and get your car. Quit thinking about it and the time will fly.

Well at least it is there and for the most part it is safe.....
Mine is on the train heading to annapolis..... It is sitting in Detroit on the train right now.... It is killing me that it is almost here.... yet so far away. Not only that but the GM at the dealer said because of the holiday, It will be at the trucking facility on Friday but won't be loaded on the truck unit Tuesday, Soooooo,I won't get to have it until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

You're at college. Get really drunk and stay that way till Thursday, you'll be surprised how fast time flies when you cant remember a thing!

Lucky you if you get it that soon after it unloads. My Camaro sat in a VA railyard for 2 weeks before it trucked on down here. Yes, I know some of you got lost in Area 51, and if that had happened to my car I would have lost my mind. I was worse than a 5yr old on Christmas eve for the whole 2 weeks. My wife nearly killed me.

Don't drink. Very bad thing. I know, started working in bars at 20 at college, ended up being co-owner in 2 of them. Got hooked on drinking and did not stop until wife said her or the booze.

I have not had a drink since Feb 11th 2005. Best thing that ever happened to me was my wife laying down the law.

Enjoy the car though. Camaro's Rock and I love #230!!

I don't drink because of some problems people have had around me because of drinking, but congratulations on your sobriety. I know its a hard thing to do through watching others. You should be proud
