Anyone upgrade their auto SS with a ZL1 auto transmission? What driveshaft did you use and where did you get it?

I did, but also put the zl1 rear diff in and just used a zl1 driveshaft for now.

Will need a zl1 cross member. I would get an aftermarket flywheel to take advantage of the 6 bolt torque converter. Will also need to swap your trans control module.

ive had the transmission done for a while. was just taking the gforce rear out and putting a manual SS rear in it.

Curious. Besides the transmission being able to handle more power, what added benefits do you get with the swap?

now im able to swap diffs for the track or DD. I drive a lot so mpg are a little important.
