2014 2LT/RS Dual-Mode Exhaust to Single?
Hey there, currently I've been looking for a new exhaust. All of the ones that I've been searching for only have a single-mode exhaust, the one I have is a dual-mode. I'm wondering if there's a mod that can a single-mode Borla Axle-Back exhaust into a dual-mode one?
Or if there's a way to change my current exhaust into an actual single-mode? Like am I allowed to change a Dual to Single? Sorry this might be a bit confusing, It's hard to word. Ask me if something isn't clear! And also, I'm still new to this whole car moding thing so try to go easy on me. Last edited by Jarrettstrand; 04-06-2015 at 03:35 PM. |

You are looking into cutting the stock muffler off, and changing the quad tips diffuser into the regular one, in order to get another exhaust.

I understand there is a fuse you can pull to keep your dual mode in the "wild" mode all the time- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...&highlight=npp
Otherwise the only aftermarket exhausts I've seen for the V6 are single tip on each side. The only quad tipped I've seen is a very expensive cat back system for the ZL1 that is 3" in diameter all the way back. I'm sure your NPP system would sell well in the member's classifieds. |

Does pulling the fuse basically keep the exhaust open the whole time? Instead of it opening up right after 3 rpm?
