Wow, after 3 months of ownership and about 4500 miles, I just noticed that the headlight turns off when using the turn signal during the day. Just the one headlight that you are using the turn signal on. Pretty darn cool!

The halo/DRL turns off, not the headlight bulb itself. You can get a harness to keep it on if you'd like, I believe gen5diy.com sells them. I personally don't like when a DRL turns off for a turn signal, the 2010-2013 models don't do it with the fog/DRLs

I don't like that it turns off either. Looks stupid. I am going to by the harness just haven't decide on which option yet.

Half the time I don't turn my turn signal on unless its on a main highway…then people need to know I am getting over. Other than that…I don't like when it turns off either. Kinda dumb

I got pulled over for having my "headlight" out.

I showed the officer that the 'halo' only goes out when its in DRL mode.

Kind of weak having to explain to the officer.

He told me to "get it fixed".
