bank1 and 2 too rich
I recently installed a new turbonetics kit on a 2014 ss and changed the oil after break in. With habit I threw in lucas oil upper cylinder lubricant/injector cleaner. About 30 min later threw two codes for 1 and 2 banks too rich. With the bigger injectors would the additive cause the o2 sensors to read wrong? Can't find a vacuum leak either.

Did you experience this same problem before adding the additive or changing the oil and all that? unless you build the motor there is no need for a break in period on a turbo. not that it should cause this.
Typically those codes are shown when the car is running too rich and it exceeds the 25% long term fuel trim, assuming there are no leaks. do you have a wideband sensor or any way of logging the car? is this the can tune? |

Yes it's the turbonetics tune. And no it wasn't throwing the code before. I'll clear the code and repost.

Ok, also check your MAF sensor make sure its not dirty and properly plug-in.
If your intake filter is Oil base it can sometimes mess with the MAF. just some basic things... |

I wouldn't recommend additive like that, expecially on a new car. BUT I doubt that is the issue. Drive and see if it comes back. If it does it's the tune or a sensor.
