I have LT 19" factory aluminum wheels on our '10 SS with roller skate Brembos. Used the 5mm spacer to clear the front brakes. NO ISSUES.

Rides so much smoother. Firestone A/S tires grip ALL THE TIME, and are quiet. Handling is still over-the-top, thanks to the Camaro SS!

Should have been a factory option. Everyone does not like the low profile, 20" (or even worse, 21" like I had!) set-up.

sounds good man I was just worried with putting a spacer on the car and having my tire fall off under power lol

I don't need much to make it clear but I do need some kind of spacer tho

Brembo recommends a min of only 3mm of clearance ( check their website) to allow for wheel flex so you dont have to go with 5mm. When I first mounted my after market wheels I only had 1mm of clearance so I added 3mm billit aluminum hub centric spacers and have been fine ...and still surpassed the minimum 7 lug nut turns.

"Given dimensions are related to the Brake system. Brembo recommends a minimum clearance of 3mm between the caliper and the wheel spoke or rim"

WON'T CLEAR WITH 3MM SPACERS!

Makes contact with NO spacers. With 5mm, there's just a little bit of clearance. Go with 5.

That just it, they hit the calipers without the spacers so if you only add a 3mm you would have less than 3mm of due to you have to get the spokes off them first. The 5mm ones have been proven to work and don't have issues. I wouldn't get 3mm ones only to have to buy 5mm ones.

There are a few of us running the stock lt 19s. They hit the caliper, so you have to move them up off of it before you can give them some room for flex. No has piped up on c5 to say they have used a set of 3 mms on that set of wheels for sure but after seeing the 5mm on them I wouldn't chance it.

I assumed the op was referring to the stock 19s as its pretty common swap on the v6 cars

I have a set of aftermarket rims i boight for my v6 when i had it fit no problem but i upgraded to a v8 the fronts clear with about 1mm clearance and the rear just barly hit the caliper so maybe if i got 5mm spacers for the rear and 3 for the front to allow for frexing
