lsa conversion

I'm thinking about getting the Lsa conversion for my 1le. I was curious anybody running one able to use the zl1 engine cover on it?

Could the vents be modified for it to fit on a 15?

I asked the same question and didn't get anyone to bite. I think it could fit if you get rid of the drip tray and could remove the stud that sticks up out of the air intake tube. But not sure it would be smart to leave it without a drip tray! I have not done much research since I asked a couple weeks ago. Hoping I can find an aftermarket tray that is lower profile or something.

No it be modified.

A custom clear insert or a new hood is your only option unfortunantly.

I took a grinder and removed the back 1/3 of the stock vent and made it flat. Left all the rest in place and it closed just fine. In the end it left only that last opening without rain protection but it never caused any issues.

Or you can completely remove the drip tray and run without it. I did that for a while but just wasn't to sure about all that water in the engine compartment so I modified the stock one. I traded in the car for a 1le or id get you some pics
