Anyone driving around without TPMS sensors?
Might skip the sensors in my new wheels but will that result in a lot of blinking lights and noises? If I get a message in the display, can I just skip it and keep driving or stuck there til I "repair" it?

You would be better served either moving your sensors over or getting new ones installed on the new wheels and programmed to you car. I believe our cars use the TPMS sensors as part of the stabilitrack monitoring system, and if you don't have them, your ABS will function funky and stabilitrack will be disabled.
I know a couple of months ago, I removed my passenger side front and rolled with my spare on my SS for a couple of days while I waited for a new tire to come in. The whole time I had to drive really carefully because the the lights lit up on the dash and my ABS acted weird upon startup. |

I have a 2010 SS and don't have any problems without them at the track for a weekend. Track tires don't have them mounted. You can just clear the warning and the idiot light will go out after a little while.

Thanks guys, will take too long before I get sensors and need the car ready for a long trip. Too bad about he ABS, stupid new cars.

I don't experience any ABS or Stabilitrack issues without them.

Mine aren't activated in my new wheels, so I have just been clearing the alert every time I start the car. No issues whatsoever with stabilitrack or ABS. Just an alert on the DIC.

My brother ran 2 front wheels/tires without sensors, he had no issues even at a autocross event. It doesn't affect ABS or Stabilitrak.

it just says a message about sensors and you can clear it and the light will stay on.
