Agreed - it does seem bizarre - the aftermarket accessory opportunity seems like GM leaving money on the table - whole so many other companies are getting their products out there

Accessories are the least of their worries. GM is still trying to stay afloat folks. Give them time, they'll come.

It's pure profit for GM, they should release them if they want to make money on a high mark-up market segment.

A member on here reported(not sure who) that the cold air intake is being redesigned
because the initial design was not producing the expected results.

Yah, didn't GM layoff a bunch of engineers and designers from their performance division?

I too am waiting for some of these parts to be released.

Waiting on shorty headers and cold air intake.

Add to that the catback performance exhaust andthe Hurst Short Throw Shifter. Once they are available, I am ready to order.

A little confused...Why would they release the catalog for some of these parts if they aren't actually available for purchase?

Is that what you guys are actually saying? Because I've seen the link on here and downloaded the GMPP catalog for the Camaro and have it saved on my desktop but it didn't even occur to me that if I were to call them up the parts might not even be available...hmmmm interesting and stupid on GM's behalf on what is essentially pure profit I agree...

Profitable business? Gm hasn't made money making cars in years. GM profit has come from financing (obviously now down the drain) and parts. You must satisfy market demand or someone else will... and they are!! GM does not manufacture parts. They are jobbed out to GM specs. In other words this is no way to run a railroad... or automobile company in this case. GM... get on the stick.
