SLP Loudmouth 1 vs straight pipes

Why is it that the Loudmouth 1 sounds better than a muffler delete when they are basically the same thing? My magnaflow street series is ridiculously quiet and I'm looking for something much louder for a decent price.

The quality of the install and the Finish of the tips and quality is what your essentially paying for. Dont over think it either way its a muffler delete. I had the SLP 1's. Question is. Are you planning on going cammed or FI or for more power in general? If so, id save and put your money into a good catback setup.

The LM1 setup is LOUD very much so, almost too loud and the drone sucks. I have had my SLP system headers to tips for almost 4 years. The full slp kit does include resonators which would be the sound difference that you see from straight pipes. Here is my LM1 system before cam HERE
After Cam HERE

I have Kooks LT and catted mid pipes with slp loudmouth 1. I have no resonators or anything and love the sound. I don't think it's too loud, I think it's just right.

But why buy loudmouth when you can get a straight pipe at a muffler shop for $100?

As i stated above. Better quality product/install (Which can be performed on your own). And the tips are of better quality.
